Course Structure
The qualification is achieved through a portfolio of evidence, guided by one-to-one support from your assessor.
You will complete the following mandatory units:
- Maintain Health and Safety Practices (Y/650/9312)
- Provide Investigative Consultation and Advanced Skin Assessment (D/617/9967)
- Anatomy and Physiology (A/650/9313)
- Provide Ultrasound Cavitation Treatments (F/650/9315)
Total Qualification Time (TQT): 249 hours
Guided Learning Hours (GLH): 175 hours
Credit Value: 24 credits
Entry Requirements
Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy and a Level 2 in Skin Care and Facial Treatments or demonstrate equivalent occupational experience (minimum two years). Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is accepted, subject to assessment.
Minimum age: 18 years
Course Delivery
Training is delivered face-to-face at Skintastic HQ, Southampton, through a blend of theory, live demonstrations, and supervised practical sessions using medical-grade ultrasound cavitation devices.

Assessment
This qualification is internally assessed through a portfolio of evidence, which may include:
- Practical observation and assessment

Graded on a Pass/Fail basis.
