How our courses work
Theory first
An interactive hardback workbook is posted to you when you book, with online resources alongside it. You work through it at your own pace and keep it as a reference in your clinic.
Then the practical
A face to face day at our Southampton academy. You work on real people under supervision until the handpiece, the settings and the protocol feel natural.
Then assessed
Written questions, a practical assessment and case studies. Your CPD accredited certificate is issued in your name once you have passed all three.

What CPD accredited actually means
CPD stands for continuing professional development. An accredited course has been reviewed by an independent accrediting body, in our case The CPD Group, and given a credit value for the learning involved. Skintastic Aesthetic UK is an approved provider, number 777800, and anyone can verify that at thecpdregister.com.
It matters because most insurers will not cover you to perform a treatment unless you can show recognised training in it. A CPD certificate from an approved provider is what they usually ask for, alongside your existing beauty or aesthetics qualification.
Before you book
What you need to already hold. It depends on the course. Body contouring courses need a Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology. Anything involving a laser or IPL also needs a Core of Knowledge in laser physics and safe use.
We run both, so if you are missing one you can take it with us first. See our regulated qualifications.
Check your insurance first. Insurers differ on what they will accept. If you are not certain that a course will get you covered for the treatment you want to offer, message us before you book and we will go through it with you.
We would far rather have that conversation first than take your money for a course that does not get you insured.
