How the wavelengths work

1064nm for black, blue and other dark pigments, and for deeper ink
532nm for red, orange and other warm-toned pigments, and for more superficial ink
1320nm for carbon peel and skin toning work on the same platform

What you will need

A Q-switched Nd:YAG system, whether the compact AL1 or one of our combination platforms
Replacement tips and filters, which are consumable and will need renewing
Zoom lenses if you want an adjustable spot size
Correctly rated laser eyewear for you and for the client
A recognised qualification. Most insurers and many local authorities will ask for one before you treat

Results in tattoo removal vary a great deal between clients, depending on ink type, depth, age of the tattoo and skin type, and a course of treatments is always needed. If you are unsure which system suits the work you want to take on, talk to us first.
