What is plasma skin therapy?

Course format
- Location:Skintastic Aesthetics Training Academy, Southampton
- Duration:8 hours 25 minutes of home study (online lessons and workbook), then one practical day, 09:00 to 17:30, on live models
- Includes:Printed manual, live demonstration, post-course support
- Optional:SkinCool+ device and argon gas cylinder can be purchased at a discounted training rate

No previous experience in plasma is required. A full introduction is included.
Entry requirements: A regulated Level 3 qualification in Anatomy and Physiology (or equivalent); Level 3 Beauty Therapy, registration as a healthcare professional, or equivalent experience; and aged 18 or over. We accept Recognition of Prior Learning against these requirements, but never for the practical element. You also need public liability and professional indemnity insurance naming plasma treatment before you treat clients.
Before and on your practical day
- Complete all of the online theory before your practical day.
- Wear your salon clothes or smart casual, because the training is clinical.
- Your practical date is arranged with you after you enrol.
- Lunch is provided on your practical day.
