Q-Switch Nd:YAG Laser Tattoo Removal Magnifying Zoom Lens – 1064nm

Professional Precision Lens for Black & Dark Pigment Removal
Adjustable Spot Sizes | Clinical-Grade Accuracy | Universal Fit

Enhance your laser tattoo removal treatments with the 1064nm Magnifying Zoom Lens, engineered for use with Q-Switch Nd:YAG laser systems. This professional-grade lens is specifically designed to deliver safe, stable, and precise energy to target black, blue, and dark tattoo inks, making it the most commonly used wavelength for laser tattoo removal worldwide.

With adjustable spot sizes from 2mm to 9mm, this zoom lens offers full flexibility for treating various tattoo sizes, depths, and areas, while ensuring optimal fluence for each session. The magnifying design improves visibility and targeting, ideal for high-precision work such as detailed tattoo removal and SPMU fading.

Why Choose the 1064nm Zoom Lens?

✔️ Target Deep Pigments: 1064nm wavelength penetrates deeper into the skin to effectively treat black and dark-coloured tattoos.
✔️ Adjustable Spot Sizes (2mm–9mm): Easily tailor fluence and coverage for different treatment areas.
✔️ Stable & Consistent Energy Delivery: Minimise hot spots and enhance treatment comfort and results.
✔️ Professional Magnification: Offers improved visibility for practitioners treating fine or layered ink work.
✔️ Universal Fit: Compatible with most Q-Switch Nd:YAG laser handpieces.
✔️ Durable Construction: Built from medical-grade metal alloy for long-term clinic use.

Recommended Energy Settings

(Capped at 2000mJ for machine compatibility)

Spot Size (mm)Recommended Energy (mJ)
2mm200mJ
3mm400mJ
4mm700mJ
5mm1000mJ
6mm1400mJ
7mm1800mJ
8mm2000mJ
9mm2000mJ (Maxed Out)

⚠️ Note: At 8mm and 9mm spot sizes, your laser system will hit its maximum output of 2000mJ. This means fluence (energy per cm²) is lower than when using smaller spot sizes. Adjust accordingly for consistent treatment efficacy.

Understanding Fluence & Energy Adjustments

To maintain optimal treatment results, use this formula:
Fluence (J/cm²) = Energy (mJ) ÷ Spot Size Area (cm²)

As spot size increases, energy is distributed across a larger area. Doubling the spot size requires a fourfold energy increase to maintain the same fluence. Proper adjustment ensures treatment consistency and safety.

Disclaimer on Laser Beam Visibility

💡 Energy settings above 400mJ may no longer be visible to the human eye, but the treatment remains effective. This is a normal characteristic of Q-Switched laser systems. Always monitor treatment using client feedback and laser safety protocols.

Treatment Applications

  • Black and dark ink tattoo removal

  • SPMU correction (where black pigment is used)
