IPL is not a laser. It fires a broad band of light through a changeable filter rather than one fixed wavelength, which makes it flexible across hair removal, pigmentation, vascular work and skin rejuvenation. It also means laser eyewear will not protect you from it, so IPL goggles are not interchangeable with laser glasses. The DPL4 and the ADPL-2 are our two IPL platforms, and the ADPL-2 pairs IPL with a diode laser in one machine.
