Semi Permanent Makeup Removal Training Course
Laser removal of semi permanent makeup and scalp micropigmentation. Eyebrows, eyeliner, lip liner and SMP, with the pigment knowledge that stops it going wrong.
About this course
SPMU pigments are not tattoo pigments. They sit at a different depth, they are made up differently, and they behave differently under a Q-switched laser. Get that wrong and you get paradoxical darkening on a client’s eyebrow, which is exactly the situation this course is designed to keep you out of.
You will learn to identify pigment types, assess suitability, risk assess the high risk areas around the eye and lip, and select and safely operate Q-switched Nd:YAG parameters for each procedure.
The practical covers eyebrow, eyeliner and lip work, and scalp micropigmentation, first on a doll and then on live models under supervision.
You submit two case studies within three months of the course, documenting consultation, treatment and aftercare for real clients.
