P Shield, soft TPU goggle
- OD 7+ across 190nm to 10,600nm, so it covers the whole range from Nd:YAG and diode through to CO2
- CE rating as stated by the supplier: 190 to 315nm D LB8 + IR LB4; above 315 to 1400nm D LB6 + IR LB7 + M LB7Y; above 1400 to 11,000nm DI LB3
- Made from soft, pliable TPU, so it sits comfortably against the face

Blockout goggle
- The heavier, fully opaque goggle, for clients who prefer a more substantial shield or where the treatment is close to the eye

- Our supplier does not publish an optical density figure for this model. If your laser protection adviser or local authority needs one for your file, ask us before ordering and we will obtain the filter specification in writing. If you need a stated OD figure on the paperwork, the P Shield is the option to choose
Before you order
Client eye protection is not optional and is not the same as the operator’s eyewear. The client needs their own protection for every treatment, and it must suit the wavelength being used. Neither of these is a substitute for correctly rated operator glasses. Check the figures above against your own machine specification and your local rules, and if you are unsure, send us your machine make and model and we will check before you buy.
