Standards and approval

Manufacturer: Phillips Safety Products Inc, Middlesex, New Jersey, supplied through their UK distributor. Each pair comes boxed with the manufacturer’s specification sheet and certificate of compliance, which we can send you a copy of on request for your local rules or licence file.

These filters are supplied by a UK laser eyewear specialist and are specified by optical density at wavelength. Phillips Safety lenses are engraved with the optical density at wavelength and also carry the European BS EN 207 scale marking, and the frames are CE marked to EN 166 F for basic eye protection, with the ANSI Z87 rating alongside it. If you need the exact EN 207 marking for the pair you are buying, ask us and we will photograph the engraving for you before it is dispatched, so it can go straight into your local rules or licence file.

Before you order

Eyewear must match the wavelength you are actually using. If you run more than one wavelength in the same room you need the correct filter for each, and everyone present during treatment, including the client, needs appropriate eye protection. Check the optical density figures above against your own machine specification and your local rules. If you are not sure, send us your machine make and model and we will check before you buy.
