Complete Body Contouring Training Course
Every body contouring technology we teach, in one course over two days. Laser lipo, ultrasound cavitation, radio frequency, vacuum, fat freezing and EMS muscle sculpting, learned the way they are actually used together in a clinic.
Why take it as one course
In a real clinic you rarely use one of these on its own. You cavitate, then tighten with radio frequency, then build the muscle underneath with EMS. You freeze a stubborn pocket and follow it with vacuum and lymphatic work.
Taking the technologies separately teaches you each machine. Taking them together teaches you how to build a treatment plan, which is what actually keeps clients coming back for a full course.
It also works out considerably cheaper than booking the courses one at a time, and it is done in two days rather than spread across months.
No VAT is charged on this course.
- Laser liposuction
- Ultrasound cavitation
- Radio frequency
- Vacuum
- Fat freezing, cryolipolysis
- EMS muscle sculpting
- Combining them into one treatment plan
- Pricing and packaging a full course for clients
Inside the practical days
Photographs from our own training days at the academy and in our Southampton clinic, on the machines you will be trained on. Our models have kindly agreed to appear.

The two days
Day one
Laser liposuction, ultrasound cavitation and fat freezing. How each one breaks down fat, how the body clears it, who is suitable, and the protocol for the abdomen, flanks, thighs and arms. You treat live models on all three.
Day two
Radio frequency, vacuum and EMS muscle sculpting. Energy settings, handpiece technique, applicator placement, and how to layer these onto day one so the skin firms and the muscle builds as the fat comes down.
A minimum of four live models across the two days, so you get proper hands on time with every technology.
What you will be able to do
On successful completion of this course you will be able to:
The science behind each technology
- Explain how low level laser energy breaks down the fat cell and how the body then metabolises it
- Explain how low frequency ultrasound creates cavitation in the interstitial fluid and ruptures the fat cell membrane
- Explain how radio frequency heats the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin remodelling
- Explain how cryolipolysis crystallises fat cells so they are cleared naturally
- Explain how electromagnetic pulses contract the muscle far beyond voluntary effort
- Explain what vacuum adds when used alongside radio frequency
Anatomy and physiology
- Identify the layers of the skin and describe how each technology affects each layer
- Describe the position and behaviour of the subcutaneous fat layer
- Explain the role of the lymphatic system in clearing broken down fat
- Recognise how different body types respond to each technology
Consultation and suitability
- Carry out a full consultation, medical history review and suitability assessment
- Recognise contraindications and precautions for every one of the six technologies
- Obtain and record informed consent properly
- Take and record before and after measurements so the result is evidenced
Machine operation and safety
- Set up, calibrate and safely operate each machine
- Select the correct energy levels, frequencies, cycle times and applicators
- Use correct hand positioning, pressure and movement for each handpiece
- Place pads and applicators correctly for different areas of the body
- Maintain hygiene and infection control throughout
Building a treatment plan
- Combine the six technologies into one coherent plan for an individual client
- Sequence treatments so each one supports the next
- Space sessions correctly and build a full course
- Manage what the client realistically expects from the outcome
Aftercare, safety and business
- Give aftercare advice that genuinely improves the result
- Recognise and manage adverse reactions, and know when to refer
- Understand the UK regulations, insurance and equipment compliance that apply
- Price, package and market a full body contouring course in your own clinic
What you get for your £999
Hardback workbook
An interactive hardback training manual is sent out as soon as you book. You work through it, answer the questions at the end of each section, and keep it in your clinic.
Online resources
Online learning to work alongside the manual, so you can go over anything as many times as you need before the practical days.
Two practical days
Two full days at the Southampton academy with a minimum of four live models, so you treat real bodies with every one of the six technologies.
The machines we train on, and sell
You are trained on the same equipment we supply, so if you buy a machine from us you already know how to use it. Everything comes with UK support and a warranty, and finance is available through our FCA registration.

60 CPD credits
This course carries 60 CPD credits in total, made up of the three accredited courses it combines.
Laser Lipo, RF and Cavitation
Three parts covering radio frequency, laser liposuction and ultrasound cavitation, including vacuum radio frequency.
EMS Muscle Sculpting
Electromagnetic muscle stimulation for muscle tone, definition and body contouring.
Fat Freezing, Cryolipolysis
Applicator selection, treatment cycles, contraindications and aftercare.
Skintastic Aesthetic UK is an approved provider with The CPD Group, number 777800, which anyone can verify at thecpdregister.com. Your certificate is issued in your name once you have completed the theory, the practical assessment and the case studies.
Before you book
Entry requirement. You must already hold the Level 3 Award in Understanding Human Anatomy and Physiology (RQF). This is a regulated qualification, awarded by Focus Awards and recognised by Ofqual, and it is not the same as a short online anatomy certificate.
If you do not hold it yet you can buy it from us. Take the Level 3 Award in Understanding Human Anatomy and Physiology (RQF) first, then come on to this one.
Insurance. Most insurers want to see an existing beauty or aesthetics qualification alongside a CPD certificate before they will cover you for these treatments.
If you are not sure whether your qualifications and your policy will cover you, message us on WhatsApp before you book and we will check it with you.
Or take them one at a time
If you would rather build up gradually, the technologies are also taught separately.
Two ways to book
If you already hold the Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology, book the course on its own. If you do not, take both together and save 10%.
Course only
The two day Complete Body Contouring course covering all six technologies. Interactive hardback workbook posted to you, online resources, and two full practical days with a minimum of four live models. No VAT.
For you if you already hold the Level 3 Award in Understanding Human Anatomy and Physiology (RQF).
