What the course covers
This is the complete body contouring package. Instead of taking each technology separately, you learn all six together over two days, which is how they are actually used in a clinic.
- Laser liposuction, low level laser therapy for fat reduction and inch loss
- Ultrasound cavitation, low frequency sound waves to disrupt the fat cell
- Radio frequency, controlled deep heating for collagen and skin tightening
- Vacuum, used with radio frequency to lift the tissue and improve lymphatic drainage
- Fat freezing, cryolipolysis, applicator selection, cycles and aftercare
- EMS muscle sculpting, electromagnetic muscle stimulation for tone and definition
How it runs
An interactive hardback workbook is posted out to you when you book, with online learning resources alongside it. You work through the theory in your own time before you come in.
The practical is two full days at our academy on The Avenue in Southampton, with a minimum of four live models so that you get proper hands on time with every technology on real bodies, not a mannequin.
How you are assessed
Written questions at the end of each section of the workbook, a practical assessment on a live model, and case studies. Your CPD accredited certificate is issued in your name once you have passed all three.
Entry requirement
You must already hold the Level 3 Award in Understanding Human Anatomy and Physiology (RQF). If you do not, message us on WhatsApp on 07432 485017 and we will sort it out with you before you book.
