The Smasfocus X 20D focuses ultrasound energy to a precise depth beneath the skin rather than heating the surface. At 4.5mm that focal point reaches the SMAS layer, the structural layer tightened in a surgical facelift, and the body responds by remodelling collagen over the following weeks and months.
Three handles, all included
- Multi-Line handle. 1 to 11 adjustable lines per pass for larger areas of face and body. Guaranteed minimum 20,000 shots per cartridge.
- Single-Line handle. Detailed facial work on the brow, crow’s feet, jawline and perioral area. Guaranteed minimum 10,000 shots.
- Booster handle. Point energy for delicate areas around the eyes and lips. Guaranteed minimum 60,000 shots.
Treatment areas
Face and neck: forehead, brow and crow’s feet, cheeks and jawline, neck and décolletage, submental. Body: abdomen and flanks, upper arms, thighs and knees, buttocks. We do not supply this machine for intimate or vaginal treatment and no intimate probe is sold with it.

Warranty
Two years on the machine, one year on all three handles, provided directly by Skintastic. Cartridges are consumables and are not covered. Replacement cartridges available from us.
Classification
This is a cosmetic device for professional clinic use. It is not a medical device and it is not registered with the MHRA, and we never describe it as either. HIFU is ultrasound rather than light, so it is not a Class 4 laser and does not require a Laser Protection Adviser. Confirm with your own insurer that HIFU and the areas you intend to treat are covered, and check whether your local authority treats HIFU as a special treatment requiring a licence.
