Laser safety glasses for CO2 systems working at 10,600nm. The clear CO2 polycarbonate filter is mounted in a Model 33 Eurolite fitover frame, which goes over most prescription glasses, so a practitioner who wears specs does not have to choose between seeing the treatment field and being protected.

Standards
Manufacturer: Phillips Safety Products Inc, Middlesex, New Jersey, supplied through their UK distributor. Each pair comes boxed with the manufacturer’s specification sheet and certificate of compliance, which we can send you a copy of on request for your local rules or licence file.
The lens carries its own engraved markings, which you can read on the glasses themselves. On the filter: OD 5+ @190-370nm and OD 6+ @10600nm. On the same lens, the European BS EN 207 scale marking reads 190-315 D LB7 + IR LB3, 315-380 D LB5 + IR LB6 + M LB6Y and 10600 DI LB3. The frame is CE marked to EN 166 F and rated PS Z87-2+ under the American standard. The boxed paperwork is a Phillips Safety certificate of compliance to ANSI Z87.1 and ANSI Z136.1.
That means the pair carries both the European and the American markings, so if your laser protection adviser, insurer or local authority asks for an EN 207 rated filter, the marking is engraved on the lens for them to read.

Before you order
These are for 10,600nm CO2 and excimer wavelengths only. They are not suitable for Nd:YAG, diode, alexandrite or IPL work, which need a different filter. If you run more than one wavelength in the same room you need the correct eyewear for each. Professional use only, and everyone present during treatment, including the client, needs appropriate eye protection.
