Learning outcomes
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Explain what vitamin B7 is, what it does in the body and the benefits and limitations of injection over oral supplementation
- Apply the regulations, legislation and safety protocols that govern this treatment in the UK
- Identify the anatomy of the injection sites and select the correct technique
- Prepare safely, manage sharps and infection control, and recognise and manage adverse reactions
- Give appropriate aftercare and advice, and keep legally sound client records
Assessment and certification
Written assessment on the course content, followed by a practical assessment and competency check: supervised practice on a model or mannequin, direct observation of your technique, role-play scenarios for consultation and handling adverse events, and competency questions. On successful completion you receive a CPD-accredited certificate.
